Jessi (30) leaves her chosen home of Finland on a ferry to Germany to see her dying father one last time. On board, she meets the spirited Lu (10), who seems to have lost her alcoholic father Robert (50) during their vacation. The crossing becomes a journey into Jessi’s own past, in which dreams and reality seem to intertwine.
